The T’En being segregated into sisterhoods and brotherhoods causes more tension in this book than the previous. Hi Casey, I do plan to write more books picking up the story of the outcasts. Then there is the blurb that again comments on actions that happen well into the last quarter of the book. Which is a mark of Daniells’s skill as a writer. The last book was left on a bit of a cliff hanger that hinted at another book. Also, just in general, please keep writing. Plus the only other populations that likely exist would be the free malaunje city and any slaves of the sea bandits.

I danlells so in love with the characters, I want to know more about what happens because when it left off their fate was still uncertain. Very well written, very much enjoyed. January 30, at 7: Actually I was hoping for another book already out. I hope not because I think I may have pulled something in the process of restraining myself!

But like so many others am now desperately waiting to find out what happens to Sorne and Frayvia, Imoshen and Ardonyx, Iraayel and Saffazi and all the rest of the cast.


With the complex social politics of two worlds colliding and many caught in the awkward space between, we really start to see some amazing feats of ingenuity from characters in navigating their perilous circumstances to the best of their ability.
